Submerged Arc

Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) is a versatile process capable of welding currents up to 2000 amp. Unlike the GMAW welding, the drive speed can exceed 100 ppm, and its path is only horizontal. The electrodes for submerged arc welding range from 1.6 mm to 6.4 mm (1/6 "-1/4").

In Automatic Welding Wire, we manufacture electrodes for submerged arc plates for both carbon steel and alloy steel (stainless steel, etc.), in any form (drum, reel, etc.) and any diameter required. These are certified by recognized laboratories and are within the AWS 5.17 standard.
